When traveling whether it be on a plane, in an airport or touring around it is important to remember etiquette. You would think its common sense but you wouldn't believe what people do. It is important especially when you are in a foreign country that you are courteous to others.
Last week their was a big story about a plane that landed and kicked off a family because a toddler was having a tantrum. Being on a plane for a long amount of time with a kid that's throwing a fit is really anoying but is it worth landing a plane and making them get off?
When I was coming home from Alaska there was a lady in front of me with a newborn baby and all it did was scream the whole way home. Imagine 6 hours on a plane with that. It was the worst thing ever. Nobody could sleep or anything, but she was trying to calm him down, so she was trying.
ReplyDeleteIts not really the parents fault. annoying, yes. but sometimes you just can't help a upset child.
ReplyDeleteWell I had to sit in an airplane for 4 hours and had a kid scream and kick my seat for the whole 4 hours but I was fine with it because if i was a kid I would hate sitting and waiting for that long. Like christina said its not really the parents fault. They shouldn't stop a plane to kick them off unless it's so extremly bad the pilots can't concentrate but that's highly unlikely.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it was exactly appropriate for them to land the plane and boot off the family - I mean, did they land in some foreign country far away from their original destination and wish 'em well? How would they have gotten back CARISSA SHUT UP home? Is that even CARISSA YOU BETTER SHUT UP I CAN'T TYPE WELL WHEN YOU READ WHAT I TYPE SHUT UP legal?
ReplyDeleteI didn't read the news account, but hopefully it was a scheduled stop, and the airline made arrangements for a later (and hopefully quieter) flight.
